just beachy

 
I’ve had a fair amount of beach shoots recently, which have only served to exacerbate my already complex relationship with sunlight. I’m getting a little tired of the sun always having the upper hand in my photo sessions, but when at the beach the only hope is for a stray cloud to show some mercy and put a little buffer between the bossy belligerent bunch of gas and me. This almost never happens. I live in the sunshine state.

So not only am I diligently hunting for pleasant expression and artistic composition, but also constantly moving about trying to work with whatever the over-inflated star throws in my direction.

Soggy Seattle is looking pretty darn good to me about now.
