……of the perfect sibling portrait. And because I’m all about conveying connection and keeping it real I went ahead and included it in the proof selection even though I was fairly certain it would be rejected. So it was a fun surprise when the mom of these three smiled big as she came to this image, acknowledging this was so them and saying she’d love to have it.

Only kids can take my tired and overdone “sit down on the front porch steps” shot and somehow save me from rampant redundancy by keeping it fresh and making it their own. So there you have it: the real reason I choose to photograph primarily kids……I clearly have no imagination at all and desperately need their cleverness to cover for me. ; )
